Divergent Chapters WOW!!
Ok. This is cool and weird. In the first book, Divergent, the book first mentions Four in chapter 4. Then, is chapter 6, Four and Tris first meet. Then, in chapter 24, they first kiss. Get it!!!??? 6 times 4 equals 24! Whoa! That's weird!!!

SPOILERS! DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN"T READ THE DIVERGENT TRILOGY!!!
OMG! If you are reading this that means you are completely finished with the Divergent Trilogy. If have finished Allegiant, then you know about the horrible ending. Yes, Tris dies in the end. When I read that sentence, my heart sunk and I started to cry. I couldn't cry loud because my family doesn't want to know the spoliers. Shailene Woodley says she loves the ending. I just can't seem to agree with her! Don't take us this far get our hopes up, then KILL our favorite character! ( Besides Four/Tobias! He's HOT!!) I hate you right now Veronica Roth!!!!!
Guess What!
Guess what! In my literacy enrichment class, there is this book called: The Mysteries Of Harris Burdick. Some of you might have heard of it. Well, it's this book that has a great story behind it. So, a man named Harris Burdick came into a publisher's office and gave him 14 pictures. He had 14 great writings to go along with the pictures. But, he didn't give him the writings. Just pictures, a title, and a caption. The publisher loved the pictures, and wanted to find out the story behind them. He told Harris Burdick to come tomorrow to show him the stories. But, Harris Burdick never came. It seemed as he had disappeared into thin air. There was no trace of a " Harris Burdick". There is more to the story but I need to cut to the chase. Anyway, in 1984, Chris Van Allsburg published a book, with all 14 pictures in it. When people saw that book, they were inspired to write stories to go along with the pictures. There are many, many stories to go along with every picture written by children and adults. Well, my class and I are going to write 2 stories to go along with 2 of the pictures. The stories will then be edited by REAL authors and go on to be published. Unfortunately, the book is not going to stores. Only my class will get copies of the book. I'm so excited I just had to blog about it! I start writing my 1st story tomorrow.

Six Flags Free Ticket: Read 360 minutes!
Guess what! Six Flags has given out a Six Flags reading log so I can keep track of how many minutes I read. Why do I have to record my minutes on a reading log? Well let me tell you! It's called Six Flags Read To Succeed Program! It encourages kids K-6 grades to read! If you are in those grades, or you have a son or daughter in these grades, keep listening! The students in the program must do 360 minutes (6 hours) of recreational reading! If you read all 360 minutes by February 23, 2015 (Different schools have different deadlines. Ask your teacher or superintendent when yours is!) turn it in to your teacher and later, you'll get your FREE pass to Six Flags! The park you go to must be at least 250 miles away from your school. Read to Succeed my fellow book readers! Keep pouring knowledge into your head by reading, fellow book readers!
